Astrophotography Japan / SVBony SV535 Astrograph Lens (Episode 72)
Video Introduction: For widefield astrophotography, SVBony expanded their astrograph lens series to include the SV535. This is the lowest price lens of the series, but its performance is top tier. In this video, I demonstrate using it with the ZWO ASI585MC Air and the Canon EOS R8 (non-modified) full-frame (mirrorless) camera. The SV535 is not only simple to set-up and use, but stars are sharp and round all the way to the corners of the full frame image. At F2.8, the speed is remarkable and noticeable under the Bortle class 7+ skies here in Yokohama. And even in the presence of a bright moon, the images were rather impressive.
